I've deleted all the old journal entries. Slowly, but surely, they will reappear in the journal of Ryuko Shintani. She's my mule and will now recount her story in her own journal, since they were meant to be entries from her journal anyway.
Meanwhile... I'll use this journal to talk about things in my own real life.
My sister and I have a weekly routine, now that she lives away from me. We meet early on Saturdays to do our weekly shopping. Actually, we meet our mom as well. Mom collects my sister's laundry and washes it, to return it on Sunday. Now, let me pause to emphasize: we are capable of doing our own laundry. Our mom wants to do it... or at least is controling enough that she takes over whenever we try to do it for ourselve.
Today my mom called early in the morning... about 6:00, and told me to call her, so she could come get it from there. This, because she had to meet my dad at the Dialysis Center and then go to a Garden Club Christmas event. In anycase, Heidi called shortly thereafter to say she'd just woken and would be a while, since she wanted to take a shower. I said, "No, get dressed and come here." My mom appeared about fifteen minutes later. So, it was good that I told Heidi to come right then.
When Heidi showed, Mom took her laundry and left. We headed out shortly thereafter to find: The tire of my truck was flat. We went shopping in her car and then she left me to take her shower and put her groceries away... I called AAA.
The guy arrived... pretty cute guy and broke the key to unlock my spare, so that plan was shot down. I'm not part of AAA+ so I'd have to pay for a tow. That's no good. Instead, we went to Walmart to have them plug the hole. Fun! Forty-five minutes and $10.26 later, my tire was repaired. By noon, the tire was back on the truck.
Thank GOD for AAA! Thank GOD for helpful towing companies! Walmart... good place to shop. Bad place for car service.
