So as I figure out more and more about Mira, I'll add info here.

Want to meet her? Lately she's been in The Demented Muffin.

Backstory
Mira came from a city a very long way from the Muffin, supposedly one of "the biggest cities imaginable." Apparently, she was a very famous musician, known for her tunes on a beloved panpipe, and traveled with a group of fighters on some strange quest Mira refuses to speak of, for reasons unknown. Certainly, some of these fighters had magical properties, and Mira herself seemed to dabble in it from time to time - various small illusions and prestidigitations, as well as channeling this power in her her song.
Related to this, it seems to be that Mira had some sort of special relationship with one of this group, though again, her own lips are sealed. However, the name 'Atreiden' has popped up once...I wonder what this means to Mira?
We suspect that this special relationship, the dangers of questing with any party, and Mira's strange position in this party, led her to leave this past with very little, even (seemingly) ridding herself of the panpipe she loved to play.
For whatever reason, however, Mira has with her a few small squares of paper, and she folds them in patterns most would see as random and unrecognizable until it forms into all sorts of shapes - animals, flowers, almost anything imaginable. It is obviously not magic - there is no glow, the folds are in no way runes, etc. - but a talent, along the lines of making music heal people, which she also does. There may, however, be ways to make the paper magical - while Mira doesn't do this much anymore, it is obvious she knows how it's done.
Mira also seems to know languages unfamiliar to the regulars of the Muffin, and also seems to know strange songs with haunting (and seemingly prophetic) lyrics.
As per religion, Mira doesn't at first seem to be openly devout - though if you catch her at the right moment, you may hear a murmur or two about a Protector of the Wanderers who she believes watches over her and protects her from harm.
Say hello to Mira, give her some food and drink sometime! She will certainly find her own way to thank you for it.
