"Friends" is a word we often fall back on
A word that can save us
But in its mortal state dooms us
In a way it is like the phrase "I love you"
They both have been used to much
To mantain the meaning they once had
Yet still we throw it around
And eventually call someone a friend, maybe the best
To bad that you got shot before that friendship even picked up
Of course at least you saw their face before you died
A grim grin holding a gun to your head
Now thats a good friend
