Strange, horribly-written stories from the mind of Godii
Sixteen Point Shuriken Star - Konohagakure ... Pt. 2

“Lady Tsunade.”

“What is it, Kakashi?” Tsunade said, glaring at the three in front of her.

“We may be falling into Orochimaru’s trap… but we’ll need to do so to see his intentions. Assign Erianne Yotomajei work around the village. We will see whether or not she is lying.” Kakashi suggested, keeping a firm grip on Erianne. Tsunade sighed.

“All right.” She glanced at a woman that was standing beside her desk, holding a pink pig. “Shizune.”

“Yes, Lady Tsunade?” A lady with short, black hair and wearing a dark gray robe with dark tan hems and a belt asked, turning her gaze to her. She was silent the entire time, watching closely for signs of dishonesty.

“Get me that file — over there, yes — on the available jobs.”

“Yes, Lady Tsunade!” Shizune dropped the pig, which landed on all fours, and got a folder. She handed Tsunade the folder.

Tsunade looked through the manila colored folder. “Academy… Bakery… grocery…”

“The Academy would be the best place to put her,” Kakashi said. “I don’t think she has the heart to kill children.” Erianne struggled in his grip. He let her go.

“Of course not!” Erianne replied, facing him. “I cannot kill children!”

“Or so, you say…” Kakashi said, glancing at her.

Tsunade looked up from the folder, looking between the two. After a moment’s silence, Tsunade took out a piece of paper from the folder. “Sign this, Yotomajei.”

Erianne turned her head to look at Tsunade and then, with a glare at Kakashi, she walked over and signed the paper. Tsunade took it back and handed it to Shizune.

“Starting today, you are working at the Academy. Since I can’t trust you just yet, I’m assigning someone who will keep an eye on you. Kotetsu-”

“B-but, Lady Tsunade,” Kotetsu interrupted shakily. “I-Izumo and I have an A-rank mission.” Tsunade grumbled, irritated at the interruption.

“All right!” She said suddenly. “Gai, Azuma, and Kurenai are on S-rank missions so, Kakashi! You are assigned to keeping an eye on Erianne.”

“Yes, Lady Tsunade.” Kakashi said. A moment passed.

“Well… dismissed!” Tsunade said angrily. Kotetsu nodded and disappeared. Kakashi walked over and took Erianne by the arm and walked out the door.

Well… that was easier than I thought.

Kakashi and Erianne stood outside the Academy.

“Are we going to be doing anything or will we just be standing here like idiots?” Erianne muttered, staring at the ground.

“It seems the school is closed today.” Kakashi said in response.

“Kakashi-sensei!” A happy voice called. Erianne looked up and saw a boy dressed in a bright orange outfit. He had yellow hair and bright blue eyes. The sight made Erianne’s eyes burn. “Kakashi-sensei!”

Kakashi, too, looked up. “Good morning, Naruto.”

“Kakashi-sensei… who’s that?” Naruto asked, looking at Erianne up and down. His gaze rested below her neck. Unfortunately for him, Erianne saw this. Before she could hit him, Kakashi grabbed her rising hand. She turned her head, glaring at him.

“This is Erianne Yotomajei,” Kakashi told Naruto, ignoring Erianne’s glare.

“Oh!” Naruto said, looking back at Erianne. “Morning! I’m Naruto Uzumaki!” Erianne didn’t reply. She had cast her glance in a different direction. “Ya know, Kakashi-sensei,” Naruto said. “Your girlfriend’s kinda mean.”

Kakashi sighed, releasing Erianne’s hand. Before Erianne could react to Naruto’s comment, Kakashi said, “I’m here to keep an eye on you, Erianne Yotomajei. One mistake and Tsunade will know that you haven’t really left Orochimaru.”

Naruto’s face darkened and he stared at Erianne, who glared at Kakashi. “You work for… Orochimaru?”

“Used to,” Erianne corrected, remembering her mission. Naruto’s face brightened a little.

“Was Sasuke with him!?”

“Sasuke?” Erianne asked, a little surprised. She didn’t know a Sasuke.

“Yeah! Sasuke Uchiha!” Naruto asked.

“Hey, Naruto…” Kakashi was saying.

“Sorry. I do not know Sasuke Uchiha.” Erianne shrugged. Naruto’s face fell.

“Oh.” He sighed. “Well… I was heading over to the ramen shop. Do you guys wanna come?” He smiled brightly.

“Uh… I’d rather not…” Erianne said. However, Kakashi pushed her forward a little. She glared at him, again, in the corner of her eye.

“Why not?” Kakashi said, ignoring Erianne’s first statement. Naruto grinned and started walking towards the Ichiraku Ramen Shop.

Sixteen Point Shuriken Star - Konohagakure ... Pt. 1
NOTE: Full Chapter Name: Konohagakure -- The Village Hidden in the Leaves

“Lady Tsunade.”

“What is it, Kotetsu?” Tsunade asked, not taking her eyes off the paper on her desk. Tsunade was the Fifth Hokage of Konohagakure. She had long blonde hair that was pulled into two ponytails. There was a light purple, diamond shape on her forehead. Tsunade wore a gray, sleeveless, very low-cut, robe under a forest green cloth jacket. She also wore black capri and black heels. Her most notable feature would be her rather big chest, which was mostly left uncovered. She wrote something down with a pencil and looked up, waiting for the guard that was posted outside her door to say something.

“Erianne Yotomajei has… returned,” Kotetsu replied slowly. The shinobi guard had spiky black hair and a cloth wrapped around his nose. He stepped aside a little and Erianne walked in calmly, but looked slightly disheveled. Tsunade frowned, standing up. She walked around to the front of her desk and leaned on it.

“Erianne Yotomajei?” Tsunade repeated. She stared at Erianne, her face calm and somehow at the same time, angry. “Aren’t you working for Orochimaru?”

“No.” Erianne stated in an emotionless tone. “He has betrayed me. I left and I wish to help you.”

“No one leaves Orochimaru and lives,” Tsunade said. “You are lying.”
“I survived, killing every one of his goons that he sent after me,” Erianne replied in the same emotionless tone. Tsunade walked to her seat and sat down. She stared at Erianne for a short while.

“Why have you returned again?”

“Orochimaru…” She said slowly, swallowing the ‘Lord’ that came naturally. “…betrayed me.”

“How did he betray you?” Tsunade asked, unconvinced.

“He… was going to use me-” Erianne began.

“You know very damn well that when you join Orochimaru, you’re going to be used until you can’t be used anymore!” The Hokage interrupted angrily. Erianne patiently waited for her to finish. She continued.

“What I meant was that he was going to sacrifice me for reasons I do not understand. It would have been a pointless death and I had promised to be there until he achieved great power. Allowing myself to die for something that would not give him power… I... I couldn’t let him do that to me! So… I left.”

“So why do you want to help Konoha?” Tsunade asked. “Your story doesn’t give any reason why.”

“I… I’m slowly starting to see the error of my ways.”

“Crap.” Tsunade said shortly, even more unconvinced.

“What I mean is that-” Erianne started to say.

“Take her away,” Tsunade said, averting her gaze to read a document. Erianne was expecting this moment at any time.

“I want to help!” Erianne protested, pulling away from Kotetsu so roughly that he stood back immediately. “I am going to fight until he-!”

“I said…” Tsunade glanced at Kotetsu with a glare. “Take her away.”

“Yes, Lady Tsunade!” Kotetsu said, flinching at her glare. He started to pull Erianne along with him.

“Wait!” Erianne said, pushing Kotetsu away from her. “Why can’t I help!?”

“You left Orochimaru,” Tsunade sighed, annoyed. “No one turns away from Orochimaru. You either don’t join him or you join him — forever.”

“But-!” Erianne started to say. A hand clamped over her mouth. The sudden force made her fall backward into another who had entered the room.

Sixteen Point Shuriken Star - Forgiveness

“You have failed.”

“I apologize…” Erianne said in a low voice, barely heard even in this silent room—so silent the people who loved the quiet would soon hate it. She hated this room and she couldn’t understand how Orochimaru could endure it. But then… it was Orochimaru’s style.

Orochimaru chuckled, evil creeping into his laughter. The chuckle faded away, and the room was silent once more. “Fortunately for you, I have a new plan.”

Erianne flinched. He was assigning her a mission again. He wanted Kakashi Hatake dead, and would stop at nothing to complete his objective. Kakashi was in the way of his big plans. Orochimaru sent her out to kill him and, at the same time, to test her loyalty and worthy. She came back… as a failure.

“You…” Orochimaru’s voice pierced the silence and breaking Erianne free of her thoughts. “You will go to Konoha-”

“But, Lord Orochimaru! I’ll be arrested — or killed!” Erianne protested, interrupting Orochimaru. It took one moment, one look that stabbed the heart, for Erianne to realize what position she was in.

Falling to her knees, she placed her palms on the floor, fingers pointed at each other and begged for his forgiveness. “I’m sorry, Lord Orochimaru! I was not thinking!”

Orochimaru’s lips curled into a smile. “Get up,” he commanded. Erianne obeyed, wincing at the pain she had inflicted upon herself. The stones practically shattered her knees when she fell on them. But ignoring the pain that came from her knees, surging through her body, she waited for Orochimaru to talk once more.

When Orochimaru was sure she wouldn’t interrupt him this time — he had seen an expression of pain cross her face — he began to talk again. “You will go to Konoha…” He paused, but Erianne showed no emotion. Orochimaru, quite glad at this, widened his smile slightly, showing his teeth. He began again. “You will be arrested. They will ask you questions and you will answer them. They will not believe you have come back to them completely and they will place you under supervision at the school.” Orochimaru paused, silence swarming the air again. Erianne couldn’t stand it, trying hard to keep herself in control.

“It will be at the Academy because of your…” He paused, grinned slightly in distaste. “Soft-heartedness. Your supervisor…” Orochimaru paused again. “Make sure that your supervisor is Kakashi Hatake.”

Erianne flinched again, not expecting Orochimaru to say something so loudly in a room filled with silence. “Y-yes, Lord Orochimaru!”

Orochimaru smiled again, and he waved his hand. “Go now.”

Sixteen Point Shuriken Star - Hello Again Pt. 2

Kakashi panted, each breath bringing pain. He didn’t know how long they have been fighting, but it seemed like hours. Erianne was breathing heavily as well, but controlled her breathing a little more than Kakashi. The shuriken she had taken out earlier was stuck in a tree, some of the points glistening with blood. Kakashi’s left shoulder had a large wound that was not fatally deep, but deep nonetheless.

Small drops or pools of blood covered almost the entire area. Most of this blood came from Kakashi, who was very pale. Erianne thought she had defeated him several times, but, unfortunately for her, he kept getting up and fighting back. Now, Erianne was sure she was the victor.

“Are we done here?” Erianne asked, trying to breathe more easily by forcing her breathing. The two faced each other in the center of the field, which was covered by at least two dozen shuriken. Only 100 feet away from one another.

“Only if you give up,” Kakashi replied. His headband was up on his forehead now, revealing a red eye with three black dots placed in a circle around a black pupil — the sharingan. A faint scar ran from above his eyebrow to his cheek. The sharingan could watch techniques and record them to the brain — so that the person that has the sharingan can copy their opponent’s move. Unfortunately, most of Erianne’s techniques were taijutsu — fighting with no weapons — or with a couple of kunai knives or small shuriken stars. Kakashi, noticing this, decided to use his sharingan to predict her moves and defeat her. He had not been so lucky.

Erianne laughed lightly, barely being able to breathe. “You know I can’t do that.”

“Oh yes…” Kakashi started to breathe more easily, his breath coming in a slow, even pattern. “You’re afraid.” Erianne frowned and then glowered at him, her eye flashing again.

“Afraid?” She repeated, anger in her voice. Her breathing was normal. “Afraid of what?”

“Death.” Kakashi replied calmly, his breathing, too, becoming normal. Erianne stared at him for a few moments and then started to laugh. Several minutes passed until she was able to take a deep breath in and shake off the remaining laughter.

“Death…” She wiped the tears from her eyes, lifting up the cloth slightly to wipe the water from her right eye. “Why would I be afraid of death? It offers peace… and eternal sleep… no one to disturb your rest any longer.”

“Then why do you still live?” Kakashi asked. “Why do you keep fighting for your life? Die, right here and now!” Time stood still. Neither of them could hear the leaves of the trees rustling. He stared at Erianne, unsure of what her answer might be. Her eyes examined him as well and seemed just as unsure. She opened her mouth and spoke slowly, quietly.

“I… live for Lord Orochimaru. I swore to be there for him until the day he no longer needs me – the day when I become useless to him. Until then… until then, I’ll keep living! No one, not even your Great Hokage, will be able to kill me before then!” Erianne’s infuriated expression calmed down. “Our beliefs are different, Kakashi. I’m sorry for the pain I’ve caused you… but it was what I had to do.” In a second, she whipped out several shuriken and threw them at him.

Kakashi rolled far to the side to dodge the small weapons and into a crouching position. He looked up, and relaxed slightly. Erianne was gone.

Sixteen Point Shuriken Star - Hello Again Pt. 1
NOTE: Okay... I'm back (after who knows how long) with an old Naruto fanfiction (written 2 years ago) about an original character of mine (Erianne Yotomajei) and Kakashi Hatake. Unfortunately for those who are used to reading last name, first name format, I've made it so that it reads first name, last name. And I've "translated" most Japanese terms, so that -sama becomes Lord or Lady and that -san becomes Miss (in a girl's case, in a guy's case, it probably won't be there). Others, like '-nee-chan' or 'Itadakimasu/Gotsusosama' were left mostly because you can't really translate it into anything. -nee-chan means 'big sister' and Naruto calls Ayame (from the Ichiraku Ramen Shop) "Ayame-nee-chan" but I can't translate it to say 'Big Sister Ayame' because I feel it would be rather awkward. I could change 'Itadakimasu' and 'Gotsusosama' to their English equivalents, but I think it'd be weird. Oh! And I "censored" extreme words. You know. Yeah. Those. ^_^

Okay, enough ranting. Time for Chapter 1, Part 1.

“Hello, Kakashi Hatake…” A voice out of nowhere said, startling the young, gray-haired man. The bottom half of his face was covered by a dark blue mask. His left eye was covered by a headband with a rounded rectangular piece of metal sewn onto it: a hitai-ate. In the center of the metal was the symbol of Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves.

“Long time no see,” Kakashi coolly replied, his right eye moving. He was trying to locate the source of the voice.

“And you never see what’s in front of your own face…” Kakashi’s eye darted to what was in front of him. He saw a sorrowful gaze staring back at him. The eye he saw was a color of light honey with tiny hints of light kiwi green. He recognized the gaze.

“Erianne Yotomajei…” Kakashi said softly.

“I’m surprised you remember me, Kakashi,” The eye he looked into moved farther away. He was tempted to move with it. But then he was able to see this Erianne. She had mid-neck, light blue-ish gray hair and her right eye was covered with a simple cloth, as Kakashi’s left eye was covered with his hitai-ate. She wore a dark green see-through shirt that was off her shoulders, the sleeves reaching her knuckles, and the hem of the shirt reached down to the middle of her thighs. She wore a black, thick strapped shirt that ended an inch below her breasts. She also wore black, arm warmers made of thin material and green-black shorts that were shorter than the hem of her shirt and were held up by a brown belt. She wore boots that were up to her thigh, only leaving an inch and a half of skin between the shirt and the boots. The boots made of some sort of material that wasn’t too stiff or too loose. Two black shuriken packs were fastened to her belt. A large shuriken star was attached to her back by “X” crossed leather straps.

“Who wouldn’t remember someone like you?” Kakashi said, a sad tone creeping into his voice. Quickly, he tried to stop the sad tone from affecting his voice before he was to talk again. Erianne, however, picked up the tone.

“I’m sorry, Kakashi…” She replied, still staring straight into his right eye with her left. “I didn’t really mean-”

“What are you doing here?” Kakashi interrupted, an angry tone replacing the sad one. “This is the Fire country. You shouldn’t be here.”

“I have business here,” Erianne said, her voice getting harsh as well. She stiffened slightly.

“Business, I’m sure… working for that ****** Orochimaru again?” Kakashi retorted. Erianne glowered at him.

“You will die at my hands if you ever say something like that again!” Erianne said angrily. Kakashi stared back at her, not intimidated at all.

“Why?” Kakashi started to say. “Is Orochimaru your lover now?” This clearly broke Erianne. She disappeared from his view, only to reappear behind him with a kunai. Erianne crossed her kunai over his neck and pulled Kakashi into a headlock.

“Don’t… you ever say that…” She said, a lot of anger in her voice now. But Kakashi could hear a bit of sadness in her voice. But then, she was talking directly into his ear. “I know you’re mad… but I had no choice-”

“No choice!?” Kakashi interrupted again. He pulled himself out of her headlock roughly, feeling a warm liquid seep through his mask. In his anger, he forgot about the kunai held at his throat, which had made a small, non-dangerous cut. “You had a choice — to betray your village and join a ******* like Orochimaru or die for the sake of your village so that he wouldn’t succeed. BUT YOU CHOSE TO JOIN THAT-” Kakashi stopped. He saw Erianne drop her head, her gaze hitting the ground. She was shaking. Kakashi couldn’t tell if she was about to cry or if she was battling herself to calm down and not kill him in an instant. Kakashi knew that she was capable of doing that… at least… she was before.

“I told you…” She said, her voice shaking with anger. “… not to talk about Lord Orochimaru that way…”

“And what are you going to do?” Kakashi dared to anger her even more. “You’re too kind-” Kakashi stopped, his voice failing him. Erianne had taken out one of the large shuriken types — the big four-pointed star that resembled the smaller shuriken. But instead of only having four points, it had sixteen. Her head was pointed at an angle to the ground, but Kakashi could see that her eye — mostly covered by the shadow of her hair — was dark and flashing dangerously. No other shinobi would dare go any farther than that.

The battle between the two began.
