i had such a weird dream today. you're gonna think im crazy, but its really cool. and vivid.

have you ever seen the mario bros movie? in that movie, Earth and the mushroom kingdom are connected somehow, and that idea was incorporated into my dream. apparently bowser managed to kill mario and the rest of the mushroom kingdom, .he had effectively taken over that world, and was on the verge of taking over normal earth o_o me, my dad, and my younger brother were part of a small resistance of humans blocking the entrance on thier side. the dream started off with me on the run from some henchmen, making my way to the resistance entrance. when i got inside, everyone was talking about bad news... i think maybe they were getting trying to come to terms with the deaths of family members and also our low numbers. there was a really sad moment in the next part. everyone was in line waiting to reach a little dirt altar (just a big pile of dirt, really) i didnt know what was at the front of the line. when i got there, i saw a little white bowl filled to the brim with what looked like water. dad was behind me. "go on. just one drop." at that point, i started to feel really sad, like i wanted to just start bawling right there and then. thats when i realized it wasnt water, it was a bowl full of tears. i remember standing there with my eyes shut tight, fighting tears back as much as i could, so that i could drop only one.

and that was when the dream ended. since i only saw my dad and my brother, i can only assume i that the rest of my family was gone, since i wanted to cry so much. apparently dropping a single tear into a bowl was our way of remembering
our loved ones. maybe because we didnt have their bodies or space to put them in.
