	Fall Spent part of today outside planting spring bulbs Don't know if they'll survive..... it's kinda late to be planting them but if I didn't plant them, they for sure would not survive.....

	All's well...... The surgery went well I'm told Had a minor bleed in the recovery room, nothing serious Started on the exercise regimen recommended, not fun Tomorrow the major bandages come off and I can see how well I'm healing

	Stressed ... to the point of tears My surgery is scheduled for noon tomorrow ("Please arrive at 11:45" wink So much still to do...... laundry, dishes, cleaning house I'm stressed, tired, in pain and generally pissed because I seem to be the only one doing any work around the house even though 5 people live here.... 4 of them able-bodied humans sigh

	Going to be a long week I have knee surgery scheduled for August 18th...... I am now beginning to de-tox before the surgery...... no pain killers, no anti-inflamitories, nothing to dull the pain in my knee It's going to be a very long week

	It's official I'm officially irritated with my husband. He's pulling the old "if I procrastinate long enough, we won't be able to buy the materials for the project she wants done, and I won't have to do it" routine. But Gawd help me if I'm not immediately, enthusiastically involved in whatever project he wants done (even if HE does not help with it)

	Been a while I've spent the last 2 1/2 years in treatment for cancer. Yay, me Sometimes I feel that I should have chronicled my adventures in medical treatments here.... too late for that now, oh well Needless to say, I'm still here The type of cancer I have is leukemia, so I can never say I'm cured... but I'm in remission for over 2 years now and my treatment is being "stepped back". I'm off most of the drugs that were prescribed for me. I go back for an evaluation in April, hopefully I'll still be fully in remission and not have to go back on the meds.

	What happened In my last journal entry, I told about learning about the death of one of my younger friends...... I've got more details now sad His death has been ruled a suicide surprised He was on a court-ordered visit to his mother (he lived with his dad and step-mom) There was a rather nasty fight and he ran away. He was found several hours later, dead. He'd hanged himself cry Someone asked me if he could have been playing "The hanging game" with some of his friends. I don't think so..... He was considered to be 'emotionally troubled' by our school system. I think something was said during the fight that made him want to end it. ((OK... I'm crying again. He was such a great little guy)) I hope he has found the peace that he apparently couldn't find in life
