Chitsa
Name: Chitsa (pronounced CHEAT-sa), Chi for short
Race: Snowy owl youkai
Age: Somewhere between 17 and 20, she's not certain, as she was never allowed to celebrate a birthday
Personality: Chitsa is very shy and withdrawn, except when she's performing. Her shyness sometimes makes her seem stuck up, but she just doesn't know how to act around people, for the most part.
Appearance: This is what Chitsa looks like in human form. In a half-changed form, she has silvery-grey and white wings. This is what she looks like as an owl.
Bio: Chitsa's mother, a former geisha, died when the girl was only seven or eight years old, and her father was killed shortly after by members of a church congregation who were convinced he was holding an angel captive (Chitsa didn't know how to hide her wings yet), rather than protecting his only child. Chitsa lived in a church from then on, never allowed to leave. The clergy told her the arts her mother had taught her were of the devil, and she was no longer allowed to sing or dance. They also convinced her that she was an agel, a scion of God, and that she had to act accordingly until she remembered where she came from and her purpose. When she was fifteen, a hanyou child was brought into the church to be excorcised. Chi saw part of the ceremony, and later questioned the priest about what she'd seen. When the priest refused to adress the issue, she refused to let the ussue go. Eventually, the church turned on her and turned her out.
Other: Chitsa can change into a snowy barn owl, or half-change, which commonly gets her mistaken for an angel. (Her half-change for is merely a girl with white feathered wings.) She can fly extremely well in either form. She has the common youkai power of a superhuman constitution (fast healing). With hollow bird's bones, she's incredibly light and, as such, also incredibly flexible, which makes her very good at any sort of acrobatics. Chi can speak to birds and sing as well as them. Her incredible charm is evident when she sings, and is nearly as effective as hypnosis.
Before Chi's mother died, she trained her in some of the geisha arts. She can dance and sing professionally (with her Charm controlled so that it won't effect people), as well as using fans and playing several instruments.

Father Matthew Thorne
Name: Father Matthew Thorne
Race: Human(?)
Age: 27
Personality: Thorne is cold and devout, extremely buisnesslike and serious.
Appearance: [x]
Bio: Father Robert Thorne is an unoficially-excommunicated Catholic priest. While his "talents" (psychic ability including telekenesis, post-cognition, some mind control and some telepathy) make him an ideal holy mercenary, for taking care of cases of overly-dangerous heretics, posession cases gone out of hand and demons. He's useful to the church, but he's also highly feared. While he can't be excommunicated, exactly, he isn't trusted or liked within the church, either. He's seen as too blood-thirsty and too much of a threat. Too likely to stray from the righteous path. Thorne is merely a tool of the church, and is satisfied to be so. He sees his position and his powers as gifts from God.
