Finally!
I finally received my acceptance letter from VCU. I haven't gotten the official information packet they've promised me so I can't finish filling out my response form yet, but at least I can relax a little knowing that I've at least been accepted. I'm also going to have to send them a $300 tuition deposit when I do send my response form, but I don't care about that either!

Now that I know I've been accepted, I'm going to have to start looking for an apartment. sweatdrop

I'm going to get some junk food for dinner tonight to celebrate. rofl I've been craving a Hardee's thickburger for a long time now, but I've also been trying to lose weight and stay in shape so I haven't eaten any fast food in months.

Profile Quilt Patch
Since the code for my patch won't fit in the smaller panels of my profile, here it is:

New profile! [Extended information]
Well, it's been more than a year since I made my last profile, so it's about time I came up with something new!

My profile features my own art of my current avatar, who is wearing a hairstyle similar to my new hairstyle in real life. I chopped off about 23 inches of it last month and donated it to Locks of Love. whee

I definitely can't claim that the art in my profile is my best work to date, but considering the fact that I've been fighting a rough art slump for several months now, I'm very pleased with what I was able to come up for this profile. However, I must say that she doesn't rock the skinny jeans look as well as my actual avatar does. rofl

This profile is actually the second in a series of designs I'm making based on similar colors, graphics, and design elements. The first in my series is my new blog, and the third will be my website, which I will be starting after I officially finish my profile. :3 I'm not sure if my website design will be the last in the series, but for the moment I don't have any other designs planned for the series.

All of the graphics were made in Photoshop CS2, including the art. I did my CSS coding in Notepad++ rather than classic Microsoft Notepad this time around, but I did use the regular Notepad to type up content for the various sections of my profile. I used Mozilla Firefox to test the appearance of my profile, and occasionally I used Internet Explorer to see how badly it looked.

Fortunately, the only compatibility issue I've found is a slight color difference between the background colors in my images and the background colors on the actual page. However, I'm not sure how visible these differences will be on different monitors; on my monitor the difference is very obvious, but on my boyfriend's monitor the difference is barely noticeable. Both monitors display the colors flawlessly in Firefox.
