You know, the fact that people are getting me gifts when I've hardly been on Gaia in like a year and a half never ceases to amaze me.

I have a character, who has been sitting around with more or less nothing to do, for quite a long time. And I'm still very fond of him.



This is Sunny's brother Raynakre Firebrand, known mostly as Ray. Ray was a fairly major character when his niece Bronwen was a wee one, but now that she's grown... he has no purpose. He doesn't have the same role in Bronnie's life that he had--well, neither does Sunny, but Sunny is a separate matter and still has enough to do. He was always sort of awkward around Ghlyssa, being an avowed carnivore. Presumably, he sits in the living room and plays Nintendo these days.

That makes me sad. I'm very fond of the character. He stems, you see, from the original crack-addled MSN RP with my best friend that Sunny comes from originally.

Ray is, much as his sister, a dragon with shapeshifting abilities. He is Sunny's clutchbrother, meaning their mother laid two eggs at once, but it bears mentioning that in their culture this is not the same thing as twins. He's not terribly tall for a young man, being only about 5'6". He has dark hair with a faint red tinge, red horns, and yellow eyes. Sometimes he has a tail (black, with a red tip). He has an inordinate fondness for his Batman shirt, despite not really being into comic books. He makes jewellery as a hobby and as an income. He has a motorcycle. He's snarky, rather distrustful of what he views as "outsiders," and has a quick temper which can easily turn to violence. He's usually very remorseful when that happens. He worries privately a lot, especially since he feels his sister doesn't worry sufficiently about outsiders. When he does manage to quit worrying and being suspicious, he is a passionate and fiercely loyal person who rarely does anything half-heartedly.

I've always found it a bit hard to describe my characters, you know. I just... know how they act.

Anyway, what is my point in telling you folks all this?

Ray has nothing to do. And it isn't fair.

So I offer you folks this.

I am renting Ray out for other people's plots.

Do you need an outside party in a plot? Would you rather have someone play this character rather than create yourself an NPC? Will Ray fill that void?

Give me a yell if that's the case. It bears mentioning that I do get rather busy, because I work six freaking days a week, unless it rains, and a thread somewhere in which we can post back and forth when we get a chance might work best, but I'm often around in the evenings, too.

Okay, I'm not really around. But I may as well make a list of presents.

This is the eternal quest for cosplay pets. I'm not terribly rich, though, so at the moment I may not be doing anything about it. >> Okay, so it's not a very active quest. Maybe at some point when I have more gold, I'll do more.

Anyway. R. Daneel Olivaw, of Isaac Asimov's.... various series. XD A completely humaniform robot, bound by the three laws of robotics, but with the ability to affect men's minds.

Name: R. Daneel Olivaw (The "R" stands for "robot"!)
Gender: Male
Hair: Red and short, slicked back
Eyes: Blue
Appearance: Perfectly human, and fairly attractive.

As for the cosplays... well, I'd be thrilled with anything that fit the description and had the name, be it animal, anthro, human, or otherwise.
