For the past... like... six years I've been getting this weird thing that happens when I'm waking up...
I'll be asleep and happy, don't have to be dreaming about anything, then I'll be waking up and... I can't move. My entire body feels just dead and paralyzed and I sit there wide awake but completely unable to do anything. More often than not, this is accompanied by the feeling that I can't breathe. It takes like five or ten minutes (or maybe it just seems that long) of trying to wiggle my fingers and toes before I can finally move again. It's ******** scary and it just happened again this morning and DAMNIT I never want to sleep again.
I looked it up and it's a sleep disorder called "isolated sleep paralysis" but I couldn't find any information on if there's anything I can do about it. I can talk to my doctor, sure, but I don't know when I'm seeing her next so UGH. I hate having to deal with this. But I have to.
I'm tired of it.
...
Haha, get the pun? Tired? Sleep disorder? Oh, whatever.
