One of the greatest days in a college student's life. Why? Because it signifies the end of the semester. No more classes! Granted, there are the finals, but those don't count as class days, therefore, the semester is more or less over. I spent my Dead Day like a true college student. I slept in until around 11 or so then got up. I went into work this afternoon, and I even studied a little. Go me.
Tests shouldn't be too bad. I think the worst will be my history final. The only thing he told us for the final is to "Know our notes cold." Well, that's ~60 pages of notes. So, I figure if I read over them 1-2 times a day until the final, I should be in good shape.
Over break, I plan on doing as little as possible. Sure, I'll go to work and I need to get my stuff together for Japan (pushed back yet again to Summer '07) and then there are family functions, but really, it will hopefully be a time of rest and relaxation. Of course, I know this won't happen, but it's nice to dream.
I actually want to spend the break working on my novel. My goal is to have it done by the time I start the Spring semester. Whether or not I accomplish this is, as of yet, unknown. But I shall try. If not for myself, for my sister. She wants to know what happens and if I don't finish it so she can find out, she'll most likely kill me.
I am hoping that the rest of the year begins to look up. Last week, I think that my kharma was out to get me. The back window of my car was broken. And I mean completely shattered. But, it's made of that safety glass stuff that remains in one piece even when shattered. So, it took nearly a week in order to get the window replaced. Also, I had severe technical difficulties during the last anime club meeting. And carrying a crapload of stuff 1/4 mile with only one of my friends to help me since I couldn't drive my vehicle sucked severely.
On the plus side, I did get a new movie that made me happy, and along with it came three free movie rental coupons. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Also, I FINALLY got the 12th volume of Fruits Basket in the mail the day before yesterday. I've been waiting for this book for two months. I'm so happy...
Well, it's time to close up shop so I'll talk to you all later.
Dewa mata kono tsugi.
