SCHOOL
So this is my senior year of highschool. I'm taking an AP art class(which takes up two periods), two chorus classes, AP English, US government, and oceanography. It isn't too heavy of a class load, I mostly have to worry about doing homework and such for my AP English class, which is first period and thus is every day(unlike my other classes, which are every other day).
COSPLAY/CONVENTIONS
As for my cosplay/convention status: it seems Anime USA and Katsucon are out of the question. Choir conflicts with both, so I won't be able to do a con until the summer. :[ but on the bright side, the money that would have gone into AUSA and Katsu will now go into Anime Expo, which is gonna cost like 1,000 bucks itself(I gotta fly across the country). Anyways, as for cosplay, here are my plans for the next year:
Young Gym Leader Sabrina - Pokemon(Done by Halloween[so I can wear it then])
Lolita Axel(please don't take this idea, I came up with it) - OC based off of Axel from Kingdom Hearts II(Done by Springtime/Spring Break)
Max - Maximum Ride(Done by Graduation/Start of Summer)
Katara Painted Lady Outfit - Avatar: The Last Airbender(Done by Fall/Before AUSA)
Along with these, I am also redoing parts of my Sasuke Shippuden cosplay, which should be done before I leave for Anime Expo.
LIFE
Nothing interesting is really happening in my life at the moment. I've been spending all my free time doing AP homework and working. I'll update when my life has something worth talking about going on.
OTHER NEWS
I feel as though it is my duty to give you some updates on what is happening through my online connections. Those of you who are youtube users should be made aware that youtube has become ANTI-GAY. A girl that I am quite fond of, who's current youtube account is TheBlondewolf2, has now been suspended for the second time due to her videos. both times, youtube failed to state why they suspended her accounts, but based on the fact that she had just posted a video about coming out to your parents only a few days before this last suspension, everyone has decided that youtube has started hating on the gay community. The video posted on her current account goes into more details and such on this matter, and other matters, so go watch it.
She's not the only one having this happen, however. twinfools has had a couple of videos flagged/taken down because they hinted/blatantly stated that she was gay. Thankfully twin has yet to be banned, but youtube is really getting on everyone's nerves now. I just felt I should warn anyone who has put up yaoi/yuri amvs, videos stating in ANY way that being gay is ok, or cosplay skits hinting homosexuality that these videos may be taken down, and that if too many of your videos get flagged, youtube will ban you for it. Being gay isn't illegal, and it's freedom of speech to show/talk about it on your videos, but youtube users are being wrongfully hurt by their use of this freedom. Just be warned.
