Two things-
Thing one- The rollback has taken way longer than anyone said. I'm stuck nekkid, and this sucks.
Thing two- I just finished packing my dinner for class tonight. I NEVER pack meals, no matter how many times I tell myself I'm going to. My bento box that Miz Reko sent me is the greatest thing EVER! blaugh

I've successfully wasted about five hours at work. I don't know what I've done, other than eat half of my thai take-out and finish off a Cherry Coke. I've got Accounting Homework Of Not Quite As Much Doom As Last Semester to deal with sometime before Tuesday, as well as a few knitting projects I COULD be working on. But no. I'm wasting time in ways that I can't even work out..
I do have a huge project slowly trundling at me for Intermediate Drawing...the infamous 27-27 project, also known as the "Gorge and Purge", or 27 drawings in 27 hours. The entire point of the assignment is to entirely deconstruct what we think of as drawing, to give us a chance to experiment fairly hardcore with new material combinations, and to entirely immolate the concept of what proper craft is. Also, we get to draw ourselves or anyone else we can con into being our models alot. Most of us seem to be opting for nudity. I'm psyched yet intimidated, I have so many ideas I'm almost overwhelmed, I honestly don't know where to begin.
My prof(who is delightfully insane and shameless and sort of twitchy) gave us the first major project "perscription"(apparently he views assignment as a dirty, dirty word) last week, but I'm just now recovering from my latest plague of death enough to focus on anything, let alone that. This same prof was the highlight of my highly over-medicated week last Thursday... he performed the infamous Form And Content dance for us. Basically, this involves my prof(Brett), a foam skull mask, a beaten-up Burger King crown, a little kids Superman cape, an overhead projector set to blue, flashing classroom lights, and an old Deevo song blaring on the boombox. He stands, he dances in a manner related to disco, everyone laughs and claps, and IT HAS A POINT. The work load may be intense for only having twelve credits, but this semester is going to kick some serious a**.
And on a continuation of my bitching for the last week or so...damn colds. Damn cold weather.

aceventure, If you're going to b***h about racism, that's fine, go ahead and report it. I agree, there's no place for that sort of thing here. But don't be a hypocrite and complain about homosexuality. Gaia never was, and never will be "gayfree", like you claim in your sig. And there's no reason it should be either. Nobody's forcing you to be gay, just move along if it bothers you that much.

Pixie Thief- "I'm with her. Grow up a little and deal with it. No, it's not right for other people to harass you, but with a signature like that(learn to use capital letters and spaces, by the way. The less educated the text looks, the more flames you will recieve) you really are instigating the entire situation. I'd reccomend changing you signature to something less offensive(yes, I find that highly offensive. No, I'm not homosexual.), and just avoiding threads you find offensive. If the subject pops up, be mature and just leave, or at least be polite about it.
I would also like to say that it's exceedingly unfair to judge people by their sexual orientation. That's only one aspect of what makes a person, and a relatively small one at that. People of any gender, sex(yes, there is a difference!), sexual orientation, race, religion, height, hair color, nationality and age can be total jackasses, as well as perfectly nice people or anything in between."

-Find specified color of yarn for Dellas' hat
-Finish torso-band for kimono-sweater and thus be able to start in on gift-hats
-Finish sorting the huge bag o' yarn Dan's mother gave me and wind it all into balls in a futile attempt at condension so they might fit in my desk...stupid small apartment and lack of storage space
-Continue work on the scarf I started on for Dan's dad

-Study for my Marketing exam this Monday
-Accounting and Mgt Homework(ah, consistancy)
-Start to coat basswood sculpture in finishing oil, due Tuesday

-Clean apartment. Again...or would that be 'still'...
-Go though the three totes full of winter/fall clothes sent by my parents and thus find my apartment floor again
-Take advantage of the free-laundry weekend
-Remember to find my uberlong scarf when I go home this week- will be going to Chicago with the art department in a week and a half, and it's cold this time of year
-Go home this week for packing and quality time with la familia
-Scare up some acrylic paints to paint my pun'kin
-Halloween requires costume...and finding something to do...bugger...
