Charlie opened her eyes. She was back at home in her bed. "Damn dreams." She muttered, it seemed so real though. Just a year ago she had been talking to Keegan, teasing each other, laughing together, and then...
Charlie shook the htoughts from her head and pulled her hair out of the ponytail she put it in while she was sleeping so it wouldn't get too tangled. She then got out of bed with a sih and got dressed. She slipped on a black shirt with a revolving door on it and on the back saying 'Whoever said nothing is impossible, clearly never tried slamming a revolving door, I dare you to proove me wrong'.
She then pulled on her black pants, the same she wore in her dream, and her boots.
Charlie brushed her hair, teethm all the normal stuff anyone does in the morning, and then walked into the main room of her apartment. "Hey Keegan." She said gloomly to the person sitting on the couch. Keegan turned his head reveling sunglasses. "Hey Charlie, finaly awake I see?"
"Yep." Charlie replide as she poured herself a glass of O.J. She gulped it down then headed for the door. "I'm going for a walk, seeyah later." She said as she opened the door.
"I'd say the same but I guess I can't, would hear yuh later be good enough?" Keegan asked with a laugh. Charlie chuckled. "Yah."
As Charlie walked down to an outdoor cafee she thought back on that fatefull night. Keegan and her were just walking around like any brother or sister would; and then Aiden came. Charlie had woken up a week later in some testing tube filled with orange liquid. A large tube was inserted into the back of her neck and she had wires sticking to her forehead, arms, legs, and chest. She rememberd Keegan coming, fighting off as many agents as possible, saving her but in the proces having to fight Aiden.
Charlie gave a sigh. "It's all my fault." She murmerd.
Keegan had fought Aiden and saved her, but in the process lost his sight from getting hit in the face with some energy ball by Aiden.
Charlie shook her head and walked up t the counter of the outdoor cafee.
"I want a Caramel Latta Chill, please,"She said to the waitress
"Blended or over ice?"The waitress asked
"Over ice."
"Whipped cream?"
"Yes."
"Caramel Sauce?"
"For real, it isn't a /Caramel/ Latta Chill without the stupid Sauce is it?"Charlie asked getting quite annoyed.
"Large or small?"
"Large."
"That's 5.85."
Charlie gaped at the woman. "For real, you ask me all these stupid questions and make me satnd here for like five minutes and then you charge me six bucks?"
"No ma'am, I charged you 5.85." The waitress replide.
Charlie took the drink muttering stuff as she walked off, when she finaly took a sip she cursed aloud. "This isn't even a Latte Carmal Chill, it's a strawberry smoothy! How the Hell do they get those two drinks mixed up!?"
