I just got the most horrible news of my life! We were just told that my older brother has to work from 4-7 Christmas Eve Night, and 6-2 Christmas morning!!! And, to make things worse, this just happens to be the last Christmas living in the house, caus he's goin' away to college next year. I hate this so much. It makes me SO mad! I could just go down there and tell his boss a thing or two about the importance of being with your family at Christmas time!

To make things even worse, yesterday was my grandmother's (Momo's) birthday. She died 11 years ago.

Know whats even worse? They say that the scarriest thing ever is seeing your daddy cry. Last night, I was terrified. My daddy started talking about how Christmas just doesnt feel like Christmas should. Everyone's always busy, and everything. And he started talking about my Granny, and Papaw... and he cried.

I was scared. I didnt know what to do or what to say, and I didnt know how to handle it. And he's mad right now, so I'm listening to him talk to my mom about it.

I hope Christmas comes back soon.
