Kalia walked through the woods rubbing her head where Ares hit her. She couldn't believe that stupid cat had managed to get away. She looked at the knife in her hand. She was glad the cat didn't take it. The knife was the one Noree gave her so many years ago. It was enchanted. If used to cut a person, that person would be dead, even if they left the fight alive. The reason for this being that the knife she held had a poison magic on it.

"Ares!" Kalia bellowed losing her cool a little. It wasn't normal for Kalia, yet nothing about these last few days were normal. Ever since she figured out who Ares and Gemini were things had changed. All the training she has done for the last four years to keep control was pointless right now. She know if Noree found out she found the kids and didn't at lest try to kill them then he would kill her. Maybe even kill her mothers, Cococo and Miya, also.

Ares runs throw the woods. She was going to find Kalia. Find Kalia and make the elf tell her where Noree was. Then she would kill Kalia for trying to kill her. The feline was anger, yet slightly thankful for Kalia telling her the truth. Ares knew what to do now. She would find Noree and work for him. Just as her father had worked for him when he was her age. She wanted to be with family, with someone that would accept her and not hate her for what she was. That was all Gemini ever did. Hate her. Jack and everyone was the same. The only reason Jack adopted her was because Gemini wouldn't go unless she went with him. Gemini was selfish!

"He took me away from my mothers arms, he took me away from Noree! I hate him!" She screams.

Kalia heard Ares and quickly hide behind a tree. She drew a small circle with a pentagram design in it on the tree with her knife. Then whispered a chant. When Ares was a few inches away Kalia stood in sight.

"Inferno Tricorpor!" She shouted and three flames shaped to resemble her formed at the east, west, and north point of a ring of small flames around Ares. Kalia was at the south point behind Ares.

Ares stops quickly when she hears Kalia voice. Ares looks around as the circle of flames form. What was this? Miya said Kalia couldn't use magic. But that didn't matter, a few little tricks wouldn't stop her. She turns to face Kalia.

"You think flames will scare me. Ha!" Ares jumps at Kalia and swings at her face, claws fully extended.

Kalia just stepped back dodging the blunt feline's attack.

"Oh, the flames are just to keep us in. Anything can enter the circle but nothing can leave it." Kalia held the knife and swung hard and fast at Ares as she spoke. When Kalia moved from her spot a flame formed in her image to fell the southern spot.

Ares dodges the elf's slow swing, the feline moves quickly beside her and trips Kalia with her tail. While Kalia falls Ares grabs the knife from her hand. She holds it up and is about to swing down at her then stops. "I'll be trapped in the circle if I kill her now." Ares thinks. Then she looks around for and kind of marking, Her eyes stop at the only tree within the circle.

"If I mess up the marking the spell will fell, right?" She smugly says and jumps over to the tree. She quickly finds the mark and digs he crawls into it. The flame ring slowly flickers to nothing.

"Fool, now you die!" Ares pounces on her and raises the knife. "Tell me where Noree is and I�ll kill you fast, otherwise it will be a slow death!"

Kalia gasped when she first fell. Why was she letting this cat beat her? She could easily kill her if she just... "No, I can't do that. I promised Miya I wouldn�t use my full powers." She went to stands when Ares went to the tree, but then is foused back to the grown when the cat jumped on her.

"I don't know. I haven't seen him in seven years. I only attacked you because he sent me a letter two years after I left him that said he would only let me live if I killed you and Gemini. I can't kill Gemini though; he is too much like his father. But it will be easy to kill you. You're just like Noree. You are a cruel and heartless girl, no better the Noree is. I am surprised you haven�t killed anyone yet."

Gemini is frozen as he finishes the letter. He's father was a killer. All his life he thought his father was a great man, but he was a thief, a murderer. But, his father had no one, only Dronic growing up. He wants to hate Dronic, but couldn't. She was just trying to survive. So was his father. If he wants to hate anyone he should hate Noree, Noree and himself. He doesn't do what his father wanted him to. He doesn't do everything he can to save the people he cares for. Gemini's heart hurts, he hates so many people right now. Why... Why couldn't his mother have lived? Why couldn't he save her? Why can't he make Ares not be so cruel? Gemini knows he always messes up. He couldn't raise Ares right; he couldn't give her what she needs. Before the orphanage Ares was the one to keep Gemini happy with her cute toddles games. In the orphanage Ares was always the one to protect Gemini.

"I should have protected her, she shouldn't have had to have protected me." Gemini tells himself. He is such coward. He ran from Noree, he always runs away. He ran from Jada, she may have needed his help, yet he was so scared something bad would happen to her if she helped the cupid. Gemini's thoughts stop as he sees smoke in the woods. Was that from Ares? If it was he had to go to it. He had to talk to her, even though he can't think of what to say. His mind is numb as he runs to where the smoke came from. He sees Ares with a knife raise, about to swing down at Kalia.

"No! Ares don't kill her!" He shouts as he runs in and grabs Ares' arm. Ares turns to him with pure hatred in her eyes.

"She killed our father and you want to spare her life?" She screams, not even wanting an answer. She was going to kill him next. Noree would take her in if she killed her own brother. She pulls her arm out of Gemini's grip and swings at him. The knife stabs deep in his leg as he tries to move out of the way. Gemini then grabs the hand holding the knife and pulls it up away from him, forcing Ares to stand and press up against him. He uses his free hand to grab her behind her neck.

"I am not your enemy Ares, stop fighting me!" He tugs hard and pulls the knife out of her hands. When she pulls away the knife nicks her hand.

"I hate you! You are my enemy! I will kill you!" She shouts then runs off. Gemini looks down at Kalia. The image of her killing his father filled his mind. She couldn't be the same elf. Kalia wasn't a killer, she couldn't be. She was always so nice to him and Cedric.

"No..." Kalia whispered as Ares stabbed Gemini. Kalia couldn't move, she wanted to kill Ares right then and then. Ares had just condemned her own brother to death by stabbing him with that knife. Her eyes watered but she refused to let the emotion, the sadness take over. She worked too hard to let that happen again. She quickly sat up while Ares run off. She just stared at Gemini seeing the confusion and hatred in his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I don't know how to help you. Noree created the knife. I don't know what poison spell is on it." Emotions she never even felt where beginning to creep in and she couldn't handle it. She stood and ran before Gemini could even say a word.

Cyrus and Miette stumbled upon the scene just as Ares rushed off. The cat let his sister down as shock over came him. He'd never seen someone been stabbed and the blood was making him feel queasy.

Miette, on the other hand, was too concerned with the wound to care. She calmly walked over to Gemini looking at the wound with wide ears. The mere thought that the knife was poisoned made her curious to see what it would do to the boy. She didn't know much but she knew that poison wasn't good.
