Eerie Night
When the waters rise in the east
There is one deathly tale
Of a man so brave and brutally grave
He drove a ship threw hell.
With one eye patched and one leg pegged
he was no matter to mess
This man made the strongest cry
And the cabin boy not rest.
One stormy night
When all was worse
And the winds could not be bared
The crew came round to the fires mound
and a plan they all did share.
"Well put him in his grave!
Well do it to night in the full moons light
No longer will he rant and rave!"
The captain with no threat in mind,
walked aboard in his silent and stalky way.
How would he know the end was near
And this would be his last day.
The main deck planks began to creak
as the ship was turned and tossed.
The crew began their awful plan
The captain would soon be lost.
The night had an eerie chill
that rattled through ones bones.
The crew drew near with wicked sneers,
as they watched the caption roam.
When the deed was done
And the captain was lost
The crew had not a clue
Who would be next to walk these decks?
Who would be number two..?~
