I nestled myself against an oleander bush and laid myself to rest.
Dying tonight is the only consolation provided for my future. I try my hardest not to dwell on the blood seeping onto my white coat of fur.
I closed my eyes and quivered from the cold gusts of wind that scathed across my hindered flesh.
Finally, my time is done.
My life is evanescent, fading away into the fresh evening dew.
I breathe my last breath, making way for the dragon.
