Ok, yesterday I went to the psyche's office because my Wellbutrine is giving me panic attacks and trouble sleeping. So he prescribed Paxil CR for my anxiety problems... I was going over the list of cautions and possible side effects and it wasn't too comforting:
CAUTIONS: THIS MEDICINE IS NOT RECOMMENDED for use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age. DO NOT SUDDENLY STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE without checking with your doctor. Side effects may occur if this medicine is suddenly stopped. These may be signs that your condition is worsening or that your treatment with this medicine should be evaluated.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include nervousness, trouble sleeping, drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, sweating, dizziness, lightheadedness, or changes in sexual function. Isn't this wonderful for me? I'm now taking an anxiety relief medicine that can make me suicidal, have seizures, give me even more trouble sleeping, worsen my depression, worsen my anxiety problems, and make me hostile... oh joy.... stare
