::Walks into the town square and sees two people fighting:: Hmm...what's going on other there? Better take a closer look. ::Reaches into her pocket and pulls out a long, satin black cloth and covers herself with it:: Excuse me sir? Can you please tell me what's going on? I missed the commotion. ::An old man looks at her and starts crying:: Those two are the Queen's tax collectors and they're about to hang a man for not paying his taxes on time. He's my only son and no one wants to listen to the ramblings of an old man. ::Becomes furious and grips her hands in anger and discuss:: I don't believe what I'm seeing or hearing! IS THIS WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON AND WHY AM I JUST HEARING ABOUT THIS?! ::Rushes to the front of the square:: WHOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MADNESS?! ::She takes off the cloak and grabs the axe from the executioner:: I DID NOT ORDER THIS EXECUTION! I WILL NOT HAVE MY HONOR AS A QUEEN DISGRACED BY TWO IDIOTS! ::Takes the axe and throws it into a nearby street cart and turns to the two men:: RELEASE HIM IMMEDIATELY! DON'T MAKE ME SAY IT AGAIN! ::The young man is untied and rushes to the old man in the crowd:: Thank you your highness! You have honored this old man! ::They both walk off and the young man waves:: Now, for you two fools, explain yourselves and you better have a good reason for spilling innocent blood! ::The two men laugh and walk up to her and push her:: SO, WE HAVE A b***h THAT THINKS SHE'S THE QUEEN?! DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH! WAIT! YOU ALREADY DID! ::In the blink of an eye, she jumps up into the air and jumps on his shoulders and snaps his neck before jumping to the other one and kicks him in the face:: NOW WHAT WAS THAT YOU SAID ABOUT ME?! I'M NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE! I WILL KICK YOUR a** ALL OVER THIS KINGDOM AND BURY YOU LIKE THE b*****d YOU ARE! SHOW ME SOME RESPECT! ::Rushes behind him and grabs him by his arm before breaking it in two places:: AHHH!!!! I'M SORRY!!!!! ::He drops the money and rushes off grabbing his arm:: My people, forgive me for not being here when you needed me the most....I'm not worthy of the crown I wear or your forgiveness but if you give me the opportunity, I will win back your trust. ::Walks to the center of the square and bows to her subjects:: The people run to her cheering WE FORGIVE YOU YOUR HIGHNESS! ::Walks over to the dead soldier:: Bury him deep so the buzzards don't mess with his remains. ::The people rush over to her and walks with her back to her castle:: ----- END OF CHAPTER 1 ---------
