As you stand there and glance around, i know what is on your mind.
Not me
You look up at me, your eyes soft and full of joy
Not for me
You smile towards me, your face softens as your smile grows slowly
Not my smile
You are thinking of someone
Not me
Joy is all you feel, and thats all that matters
Even though that smile is not mine,
and those soft, wonderful eyes could never be mine,
I'll wait,
for as long as i must,
for you to smile like that when thinking of me
Even if only once.
