Justice.
It is something I have dedicated my life to uphold. Something I have always felt compelled to defend. Something that became a part of my life the day I watched you die.
I swiped a cloth across my forehead as I stared down at the damage. The last mission had been a messy one, and the damage sustained by the structure before me had forced me to spend the last six hours in the hanger. Not that I minded much. Doing repairs is one of the few things that bring peace to my mind. A sense of tranquility that only this monotonous task can provide. Of course, today is a little different.
Today is special.
Today, all I can think about is you. The strength that always shined behind your eyes. The power you never hesitated to demonstrate. The fight you put up till your final moments. And while I would never have admitted it while you were still here, I have always respected you.
I always will.
Even now, as I think about you after so many years, I cannot forget everything you symbolized. Everything you inspired…in me.
Strength…
Honour…
Justice…
Everything.
