recently, we have been dealing with a lot. my father, who builds and rides harley motorcycles for a living, was in a horrible accident. his injuries included a ruptured bladder, punctured lung and kidney, shattered pelvis, and two hard hits to his head. he is currently undergoing multiple surgeries andis on a ventilator.
luckily the doctors say he should make a full recovery. but unfortunately, due to the seriousness of the injuries, this will take a very very long time.
another unfortunate aspect of this is that i am living in canada now, while he is still in the states. i cannot get to him and it hurts not being able to be by his side. but i have put together a very special package for him, so that when he finally wakes up, he has something from me, something to let him know how much i love him.
i will just keep telling myself that everything will be okay. everything will be okay.
