The Feeling With No Name
I can’t explain it…this sensation inside…It kinda tickles…
When you smile, it’s like the moon bursting through the rain clouds to shed its soft, but brilliant shadow across the Earth, just for me to see, and to tell me that the rain won’t last forever.
It has no words, this feeling with no name that makes my chest feel like it has its own sun growing inside it.
When you hold me, it’s like coming inside after walking in the cold; all cozy and comforting like fresh hot cocoa.
It’s interesting, I can’t figure it out; it has a sharp edge like broken glass, but a surface soft as a kitten’s fur.
When you speak into my ear, it’s like a chorus of a thousand symphonies playing for me, enticing my heart strings to join with every passing melody.
You know what, I don’t care; I cannot describe it and I don’t want to; I can only live and revel I never want it to leave, and I hope you have it too.
