Hi! Tournament was awesome! I got Second place in my kata, I thought I did great and I have to give thanks to Master Rod of a Tang Soo Do school. If he didn't give me high score like he did, I probably wouldn't have been in second.
I didn't get anything in sparring, I was suppose to be put against girls, but there wasn't any girls in my division. But, I don't mind sparring the boys, I lost on my first opponent who also beat me in kata. He was really tall and could put his foot on top of my head, but he was an awesome person and was very kind to me, so I congratulate him.
In Swordsmanship, I got second place in my katas (Mei, Hideyashi, Shinobu), the person who beat me did an amazing job and always does. (He's in my class) I knew I couldn't beat him, but I wasn't expecting to get placed in anything for Swordsmanship. Therefore, I thank my Senseis for giving me high scores.
Now for Demo Team, Demo Team has been disbanded for the summer and our Grandmaster said maybe it will come back in the winter. I really hope he does bring it back, it's just one of my favorite things. So, wish us luck, I hope we can convince him to think differently.
I am also now a Purple & White Stripe Belt! And in Swordsmanship I am a Yellow Belt! Very Excited! surprised
