So I just spent the last week waking up at 6:30 AM and going to bed at 11:00 PM. I examined bloodstains, footprints, fake crime scenes, and guns. It was quite fun. The only unfun part, I guess, was the waking-up time and the going-to-sleep time (I take forever to get to sleep, so putting me to bed at 11 was NOT the best idea if you want me to not be grumpy in the morning, which I usually am no matter what) and the fact that the people in the dorm above me decided that dancing at 3 AM was the new pastime. I swear that's what they were doing, because I woke at 3 AM to what sounded suspiciously like tap dancing or clogging--something loud. I dunno.
I'm watching the newer version of The Music Man. It doesn't really compare to the original, I think. I mean, I love Kristin Chenowith than is probably morally right, but that's my bloody opinion, and really, the original is usually the freaking best.
Good God, I love musical quartets. Sorry, The Music Man interferes with my train of thought.
I'm reading a book on the Trojan War to help with the novel I'm writing. I'm about halfway done...I hope. If it gets any longer I might just cut it off the best I can simply because my brain's buzzing with other subjects. This is the longest I've ever stuck to just one idea...just one book. It's amazing--ask my friends Coral, Mockingjay, Lykaios...all those people. Seriously, it's creepily cool that I've stuck this long to my book. It's not about the Trojan War exactly, but about someone minimally involved in the Trojan War.
I got to go, sorry, gotta finish the movie and finish my chapter. Bye!
