(Technically) Wednesday Morning Revisiting
Wow... Been a while... Guess I've kinda gotten into the habit of lurking around Gaia a little since I've been home from university...
Well, basically I've been bored. I've been working, back at the good ol' lingerie dept., which kind of conflicts with seeing my friends sometimes. And I've been sulking over the fact that me and my boy are separated for the whole summer. crying
So, first year was pretty great. Made a ton of new friends, got myself a great guy (9 months now! heart ) and managed to keep a decent GPA. 3.2, which was disappointing, but since I managed to have the retarded Calculus professor both semesters, and the extra-super-duperly retarded Chemistry professor second semester, 3.2 isn't too bad considering how low those 3 marks were.... Which still sucks though. Next year's going to be intense, especially first semester... 4 science courses and a history course. cry
BUT... I do get to live with my Japanese exchange student next year! Which is really exciting, but sucks in the boyfriend dept., since he's going to want me to spend a lot of time with him (especially after being reunited at the end of the summer apart) and although I'll want to spend the time with him too, I'm going to want (and need) to spend time with my roommate too. She's going to be culture-shocked, and what-not, and I really want us to learn a lot from each other (especially since I'm minoring in Japanese... Time to brush up after the summer ha ha).
I miss all my new friends, and I especially miss my boyfriend... It's extra bad because he's from Hong Kong, so not only is there an entire continent between us in either direction, there's also an 11 hour time difference, which makes MSNing and phone-calling hard to do too... But we are going to Toronto at the end of the summer (he's stopping over on his way back from Hong Kong, and I'm meeting him there and we're staying for a week whee heart ) and then he's staying in my house for a week before we go back to school... So that'll be really sweet. Toronto is actually really exciting because we pretty much want to do all the same things! Except I don't think he really wants to go to the Ripley's museum, and I'm not 100% crazy about seeing a science museum... Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool, but I think there's more exciting things to do in Toronto ha ha. Oh well, that's what I get for dating a nerd ha ha.
Other than all that what-not, I'm pretty much working... Saving up money for the trip and for next year. We got 2000$ from the government this year, which was amazing, but I won't get it again next year, so a little more money would be handy 3nodding
Anyways... I think I've run out of things to talk about... I'm really just waiting for my boyfriend to come on MSN sweatdrop . It's my day off tomorrow and we really only get to talk when I have days off because if I work in the morning I can't stay up late at night (which is day for him) and if I'm working that day, obviously I'm not on MSN (which is night for him). So really it only works on my days off...

Sunday Morning Boredness (Delayed)
(So, I couldn't post this this morning when I wrote it, so here it is now smile
Well, been a while. xd
I've been pretty busy. I hardly even come on the computer anymore. I figured I'd come give a quick recap of things. *Contemplates how quick and how many things...*
Yeah, I'll make a list, then highlight the cool stuff. xd
- Once again single! Bring on the boys! heart
- Getting more hours at my job in the lingerie department! Bring on the moolah! cool
- Spending lots of time with my bestest friend... Who doesn't use Gaia but is terribly distraught with the idea that I'll be going away to university without her. crying (We've been bestest friends almost forever. 3nodding )
- Got accepted to Mount Allison University... The one and only university I applied to, since that's where I want to go and I'm terribly cocky about my above-average intelligence. blaugh
- But not so cocky as to not get excited when they told me I get an entrance scholarship... The amount is still pending, and could be anywhere between 500-5000$. mrgreen
- I'm getting taped up in art class.
- I'm getting bullied in Media Productions... In a movie. 3nodding
So... Basically all I want to say now is that the taping in art class is really really cool... I definately want to bring my camera to school and get pictures... Though I wish I had pictures of earlier on. I'm littlerally getting wrapped up in tape, then cut out of it so we get a tape-figure of me. mrgreen It looks really really cool... See through and everything, but still pretty detailed. There was a point where I was entirely taped up from under the arms all the way down to my feet, which were completely taped too... It was funny because I had pretty much no mobility. xd When my partner had to tape the bottom of my feet, I had to hobble down off the theater stage (where we were taping), lean up against the edge and then throw myself back onto my back, then my partner had to push me onto the stage (so my legs weren't hanging off the edge) and tape my feet. Then she had to pull me back to the edge and drop my legs, which pretty much made me stand up completely straight. That was pretty funny too. xd Aaaanyways... Definately want pictures... The only thing left to tape is my head. xd
Alrighty... Guess that's all... Actually my best friend is here now... Sleeping. (Creepy-sounding, huh? ninja ) She spent the night, and we slept on an air matress in the basement. I wake up a lot earlier than she does. xd

Wednesday Morning New Yearness
Yay, happy new year everyone. My first chance online since the new year. I'm gonna update a little.
Ok, so, yesterday I went shopping. w00t, I desperately needed new clothes. I had 2 pairs of jeans that are massively too big for me, and another two that were only about 2 sizes too big for me. Yeah, odd, I know, but most of you probably already knew I've lost a bunch of weight (Yay me whee ). So, with money left over from my first pay, and lost of Christmas money, I was lined up for a shopping spree.
I bought a pair of black jeans, a pair of normal jeans, and a brown pair of pants that are made like jeans, but it's not that material. I bought a shirt that says "Brunette is so hot right now", one that says "I heart nerds" and one that is made to look like an old fashioned comic book cover that says "The original / the one and only / Supergirl!". Oh, and I bought a belt too... My old belt is too big and it has a huge floppy sticking out from me having it pulled so tight. xd
Anyways... My new year was pretty good. blaugh
New years eve my boyfriend came and surprised me at work at the end of my shift to tell me he was taking me to dinner and a movie. heart
It was fun, the food was great and we saw "King Kong". That was good too, but really long. We also exchanged Christmas gifts. But he dropped me off at home, no one was home at my house, and he left me all by myself to ring in the new year. crying
Oh well xd I went shopping. heart

Friday Morning Lalas
Ok, I'm bored, and since it's the last day of school before Christmas, I decided to bring my digicam to school. There were still pictures on it from my birthday party and I went through them, wondering "Hmm... Could I post any of these?"
Well, to answer that question, I can only post one, since all the others are of people who haven't given me permission to post their picture. rolleyes
But I will show you this picture of me rockin' the suspenders someone gave me as a joke. cool
Yeah yeah, bad image quality... My basement's so dark, it took a lot of tweaking to get it that visible. xd

Monday Evening Updateness
Ok, so, I'm bored, and I thought to myself, "Self, why not post in your journal? It's been a while..." Then of course I answered, "Why Self, what a great idea! I bet I could kill lots of time posting in my journal."
So here I am. And don't worry. I do have something to write about! I'm not completely boring!
Friday was the first grad breakfast. It was lots of fun, even though I had to get up at 5:15am to make it to Steeve's Diner for 6am. I have pictures, and I'd post them if it weren't for the fact that I don't have any of the people's permission, so I'll save myself some potential trouble and just tell you about it. Actually, there's not much to tell. It's all had-to-be-there stuff... But I do have a really funny picture of me and my friend dancing to "Purple People-Eaters" on the jukebox. whee
Let's see... Anything else I feel like telling? Oh, I spent the weekend at a friend of mine's house. We beat Super Mario Bros., and went shopping. I think I might have found the dress I want for the Christmas formal. My friend sure likes it. She thinks I'd "stop my boyfriend's heart" if I wore it. xd
Speaking of which, my homeroom teacher made fun of me and my boyfriend today. We hugged and kissed goodbye before splitting off to go to class. He saw and said in a "give me a break" sort of tone, "You'll see her again..." Then the silly boy yelled "No I won't, we'll never see each other again!" He's great with first impressions. rolleyes
"Let's get down to business to defeat the Huns. Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons? You're the saddest bunch I've ever met, but you can bet before we're through, Mr. I'll make a man out of youuuu!"

Oh, yeah, me and my friend watched "The Forgotten" this weekend... At the very beginning of the movie, they had a really great psychological thing going on, and it had the potential to be a really great psychological movie, but Noooo... They had to go and turn it into some crazy sci-fi conspiracy thing. They didn't even fully explain it in the end. You're just there like "...... Ok... Sure, I guess..."

Tuesday Afternoon Nerdiness
Ok, so, to get to the good stuff, you have to get through the girly stuff, so bear with me...
Ok, so I was shopping the other day with my friend Dawn, and I saw this shirt I really really wanted... It was a green t-shirt that said "Talk nerdy to me" and I was like "Man, I want that so bad! I hang out with a bunch of nerds! xd " and Dawn's like "Yeah, you do hang out with a bunch of nerds... But you're not ashamed to admit it, and that's cool!" On a related but irrelevant side-note, the other day I said to my mom that I was a nerd by association, and she goes "Well at least you fit in, dear." xd
So anyways, at lunch today I was sitting with a bunch of my friends, most of which being the nerds I was referring to, and I told them about the Nerdy shirt. So one of the girls leans over, strokes my arm and goes "I'd like to solve your quadratic... I wanna see your roots" and we all burst out laughing. The rest of lunch was spent thinking up other Nerdy-Dirty terms, as I dubbed them. So, because I'm killing time before going back to the mall to see if they have the Nerdy shirt in my size this time, I'll make a list of all the ones I can remember.
- I'd like to solve your quadratic... I wanna see your roots...
- I'd like to strip off your electron layers... I wanna see your bare nucleus...
- I'd like to intercept your axis...
- Hey baby, what's your phylum?
- Hey, nice electrons...
There were more, but I can't remember them all. I'll update if I do, though. Now, at the time we were doing this, my boyfriend was up in the physics lab. That alone led to a whole line of other jokes about him and the physics teacher... Such as "What are they doing up there?" "Duh, it's physics, they're getting physical..." "If Teacher's chasing Boyfriend at 5m/s, but Boyfriend can only run 4m/s, how long will it take for Teacher to catch him?", but anyways, since he wasn't there, I thought it would be funny to hit him with one of our Nerdy-Dirty lines and see how he reacted.
So he comes down and I'm like "Hey, I'd like to solve your quadratic... I wanna see your roots. wink " and he just stares at me for a minute before going "How about I tell you the dimensions of my linear - 0 to 8." I burst out laughing. Didn't expect him to retaliate like that. xd
