»I've falling into this dark bottomless pit for a while now, and I haven't seen anything. Not even my own hands can be seen, I just know that I'm falling. I could feel myself being drawn in by something but I don't have no idea what. Why am I not scared? I should be terrified. I could hit the ground any second and die in an instant. As I fell into the dark abyss, it felt as if my energy was slowly being sapped away. Everything is so confusing to me.
»Suddenly I fell into what I thought was water. I didn't dare open my eyes or my mouth until I floated to the top. Something about the liquid I was in didn't feel right, but what? Soon as I surfaced, I wiped my face my hands and analyzed what I was in. It wasn't water. Surrounding me was an ocean of blood. That was when I finally screamed and squirmed around, hoping for a way out. Blood was everywhere and it was all over me. I needed to get out.
»I kept clawing at the darkness, clawing for a way out. In the distance I saw a light and the more I clawed the closer it got, so I quickened my pace. It was getting bigger and brighter, it almost felt like tears were running down my face. I saw freedom within my reach.
»When the light swallowed me up, I saw a ceiling. My ceiling. I slowly sat up in my bed, happy to know that it was all just a dream. No, it wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare. I wiped the sweat from my forehead and looked around in my boring little room. Why have I been having these nightmares? Am I crazy? Am I insane?
