What does it mean to be an Artist?
A question I'm asked every now and again. I retort with this:
Why, it means everything to be an Artist. You see, Art is everywhere, and nowhere. Art is a clashing of warriors, and a meeting of Fate. Art, is one, despite being nothing. Art is a sudden burst of Inspiration, one that sets the soul ablaze, and yet it calms and quenches the thirst of our Mind's Eye, so that We can absorb It's plentiful, yet powerful Voice. When One becomes an Artist, She opens a door that is all-mighty, and all-knowing. She opens the door to her true self, and it bursts forth, creating Life and Death itself, in the form of paintings, music, poetry, martial arts, cooking, and many more. Art is all around us, and we quickly lose ourselves on It's intoxicating, and addicting grip, on our own Souls and Minds.
That, my friends, is what it means to be an Artist.
