You see and hear nothing
but its there
listen carefully to the nothing
you see and hear nothing but its there

the rapid pounding of my heart
hurts like a stab even more, every beat
tears fall with pain but no start
yet i cry an ocean, so very deep
you see and hear nothing
but its there

as my heart aches,
drenched in pain,tears, and confusion
its my empty heart that quakes
my heart says its real but is it an illusion?
you think you see and hear nothing
but its there

don't lie to me
my empty heart of lies
death will be our fee
but everyone's life will be at gain
do you see and hear that sound of patter?
its our own blood, tricked into being splattered
