I SAW MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE BABEEEEEY!!!!!
So last week was kind of exhausting, but a fun kind of exhausting yes yes.
Work is hell, per usual, but monday was awful because not only was my work friend out for the whole week but I also had my mid year review where my boss basically was a total p***k. I obviously still have a job but god every time I talk with either of my bosses I want to jump out a window.
So I desprately needed the concert on tuesday, which was Xdinary Heroes! My sister introduced me to them and at first I was against it bc kpop but she found a band that a wannabe hipster emo like me likes lmao. We got some cheaper nosebleed seats for like $75 each bc I've been to the theater they were performing at and it's small enough that even those seats weren't awful despite the distance. But I guess they didn't sell out or smth bc we got upgraded to closer seats for free!!!!! My sister looked up the seats we got and they were at least $200 for the both of us which is absolutely WILD!!!!! And it was such a good show too omg. Not a long one, but just long enough that I felt a perfect kind of tired afterwards from keeping rythm. And Gun-il was soooooo cute the entire time omg. I understand stan culture now that I have a boo like him.

BUT THAT SHOW PAILED IN COMPARISON TO THE MAIN EVENT OF THE WEEK!! PERHAPS THE MAIN EVENT OF THE ENTIRE YEAR EVEN!!!!! MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE BABEEEEEEY!!!!!
I drove alllllll the way from my place to see the jersey show because I just knew something was gonna happen. It's the band's birthing place after all. And boy did something happen!!!!! My Chemical Sellout made me pay $200 for my seat and $50 for my shirt but man I don't even mind that much because it was such an amazing show. They played the entirety of the black parade from front to back and god hearing it all just changed me. I got to full body headbang to Ray's insane guitar skills and Gee was sooooooo cute as he was playing a vaguely dying eastern european freak and Mikey was just my EVERYTHING!!!!!!! And before the black parade, the damn mayor of the town the band is from came up on stage and gave them the keys to the city!!!! I didn't even know they did that!!!!!!!!! And when the BP stuff was over and they came back out to play the b-sides of the setlist gooood it was so amazing to see them just play and talk and be my favorite band ever. CALL ME CRINGE BUT I LOVE THEM OKAY!!!!!!
So now I'm here, ignoring my office work to instead gush abt all of the amazing stuff that happened. I never thought I'd say this, but I wish I was back in jersey lmaoooo
