Dancing she smiled,
But fallen she cried.
She wondered,
And she lost.
She lost who she was
Once.
Once upon a time,
In a child's story,
Thinking things can't get any
Worse,
But they can
Always
Get worse.
But she started
To dance,
And everyone
Watched.
People smiled,
Clapped,
Laughed
So happily.
She grinned.
Life returned.
And then
She tripped,
Lost her balance,
And fell.
This time,
Though,
She was not
Forsaken.
