My angel came to me
One day, unexpected
In the most unpredictable way
His black wings out streached
Grinning a twisted smile
All along
Lying in silence
Was my warmth
Amongst the dark
Waiting to be found
Reaching blindly
I took that chance
Grabbing for his hand

He pulled me close
His dark wings folding around me
