I think I'll just go ahead and dive into this journal thing.

It's seven weeks into school and (marching) band is already making my life miserable (moreso than usual) thanks to some sophomore named Dene who has decided to use me as the tool to take out her frustrations on. I don't know who she thinks she is, but I strongly dislike rude people, and Dene is the epitome of rude. So that was...ugh.

We placed ninth out of ten at TOC, which was a big surprise. We did horrible; I don't think we even deserved to advance to finals, but hey. We just need a bit of fine tuning. I'm also very proud of Marco, who marched a spot he only knew one movement of for a competition. For what it's worth, he did good.
