I really want to quit drinking.

I feel like I don't have the willpower right now. But I admire all the straight edges out there, with their bright, clear eyes. One day I'll join your ranks.

They say a good way to quit is to list reasons to quit and to keep them in mind. Here goes.

Reasons to quit drinking:
- I want to be myself, 100%, with no help from any inner demons.
- I want to remember everything that happened, every night.
- No more hangovers. I hate being sick.
- I can't really afford it.
- I quit smoking pot. I'm vegan. Quitting shouldn't be hard.
- If my family needs me, I want to be there for them, always.
- I get negligent when I'm drinking.
- It's bad for me and my liver isn't all too healthy as it is.
- No more drunken domestic battles.
- I want to feel my own emotions, no holds barred.
- Kill the enemy within. No more self-destruction.
