I think I understand now.

She's a Diamond on a Landmine.

It took me listening to your favorite band to really get it. I'll be honest, I was too full of myself before to explore your true meanings, but now I think I'm mature enough now to listen.

It's too late, but at the very least my heart is at rest.

I don't care for you anymore. At all, really. I don't love you. Far too late for that.
But I don't hate you. That is something.
