It's not a word that comes to mind super often. In fact, it's not a word that I use in my daily vocabulary. As depressing as that may sound, that's just the reality.
However, I recently got access to my Gaia Online account again after several years. The nostalgia just came flooding back, more overwhelming than words can even describe. zOMG! was my first real "gaming" experience, dressing up my avatar is super fun, and getting to interact with others in the forums is something so satisfying even in the year 2023.
While I am not the same person I was in 2008 when I initially joined, this place still brings me a little slice of joy.
