well maybe it's not just limited to Gaia art, I see it in Deviant Art as well.
But I'm so tired of the same old anime characters.. I'm so tired of there not being a story to the characters. It upsets me because you cannot breathe life into them. I understand that it is a traditional style of art, but please break free.
If you're going to draw anime, you have to make it memorable, a scene that is heartbreaking.. that is the epitome of romance.. hatred.. vengence.. anything interesting... you KNOW you're capable of it.. try to be different.

and one more thing..
enough with the drawings of two famous male fictional characters making out. That's so unoriginal and you shouldn't misrepresent another artists characters like that unless, of course they're gay. Spike Speigal would never make out with Legolas...
not that Legolas is anime..
but that's someone else's creation.. you should try to at least mimic their character development.
plus it's kinda gross.
