Entry #6
I have no more information on this thing except it looks like a functional boombox in the form factor of an AT-AT. Really makes me want to throw down a piece of cardboard and break. That's breakdance for those of you not in the know. Uh, wicka-pow! You see that move? That was fresh, was it not? So fresh. And these beats -- it's like they were harvested from the beat-bush this morning. Quick, somebody drop one for me!

"My name is Geekologie and I am full of knowledge-y
I drop learnin' like a hookers box the burnin'
Actually, I'm feeling a little burn myself right now
Hold that beat while I apply some ointment."

I know, I am the freshest. Seriously, check my expiration date. Haha, that's right -- I don't have one! I scratched it out with a car key because I expired a week ago. I'm getting rancid. Quick, drink me anyways! You puked didn't you? Told you I was rancid! Now just one more sip. Do it!

This ad created for The Economist is designed with a motion sensor which lights up the bulb whenever somebody walks directly underneath it. Which could be disastrous. What if somebody walks underneath exactly as they're having a terrible idea? "Should I quit my job and become a professional cage fighter? My wife and family say no, but the shining lightbulb above my head says yes!"

In preparation for the new Transformers movie, Takara is releasing these Transformers toys which turn into 1/2 scale Nike shoes. No, seriously. Not a tank, or a jet, or even a sports car. Shoes. They turn into shoes.

A pretty sweet video of what an actual Shoe Transformer might look like after the jump.

PC manufacturer Lenovo was asked to design the 2008 Olympic Torch and this is what they came up with. It's too bad they didn't try anything a little more creative. One of these days when they ask me to design the Olympic Torch I'm going to hand them a live pig on a stick and go: "Masterpiece!"

The Keyport Slide is a universal key fob that stores your keys in a tiny rectangular case. Sliding modules push the keys out, and there's even an integrated RFID to allow for remote keyless entry. It's not out yet, but damn if it isn't a good idea. Although I doubt it'd fit all 4,000 of my keys. Right now I just keep them all taped to my jacket. It takes me three hours to get inside my house.

The Epsilon table is a coffee table which doubles as a fireplace. And yeah, it's every bit as dangerous as it looks. Unless a coffee table which occasionally shoots fire out the top doesn't sound dangerous to you. In which case my spinning saw blade chair is perfect for you. You sit on it and spinning saw blades, well, cut you in half. Inventor of the year!
