This is an odd journal entry, but I thought I'd post it anyways.
I figured out why I like the color gray so much. It's all around us, and yet we hardly ever notice it. Like on rainy days, sure, we say "it's gray outside", but do we really know what we're saying, do we think about the color? Gray is all around us, but we hardly ever notice it. It stands out in subtle ways.
