As I look at everything that once lived
its like wanting that power to make it all come back to the way it was
that hunger in your eyes; i see it
its alluring, and motionless
your breath upon my neck.
why are you so heartless? why are you so cold?
is it because you like taking advantage of my weaknesses?
your words make my knees grow numb
if i touch you will you disappear?
i want you forever....
please love me, as much as i love you.

It is quite sad you know,
this feeling continues to grow,
as I wither and die inside.
It feeds on the love and purity I once knew,
and once this torture is through,
you'll realize this tumor is not so benign.
With each passing day,
the more words that I say,
the more feelings I feed it to grow.
Once it is done,
the demon will have won,
and an empty husk you will only know.
Yet not so bereft,
I am graced with what's left,
this poetry I can express.
The demon will win,
killing me from within,
that is what the future holds,
but I digress...
