Tattered wings and broken bones,
Bruised by words and bruised by stones
Flying to wherever she can escape,
Held together by just hope and tape
Hiding in fear and hiding in shame,
Carrying judgment and carrying blame
Pulled from her freedom and pulled from her sky,
Pushed over the edge to see if she could fly
Ripped from her happiness and ripped of her wings,
Loved by nothing and afraid of everything,
Pushed further without knowing how to fly,
Down falls the wingless angel, rejected from her sky
