I wait here in silence
as everyone passes by
no one looks at me
because no one cares as i wait here, and lie
i feel frozen, frozen beyond compare
because i know, that i will never feel the warmth
that so many have before me,
my hope is lost, my love is gone
what did i ever do to deserve something so wrong?
as i look up at the sun, hoping to feel some of its light
it disappears and dissolves into a black night
like my soul
and its never ending role
in the tide of fate
in the wind of sadness,
i hope someday to see my savior, an angel
to rescue me, from this dark time of madness,
and despair,
to take me away, to pick me up
on swift wings, before it too late,
before i stay frozen, frozen for eternity.
i'm not the best poet in the world, so please let out any cruel comments you have, it'll make me become a better poet.
