With the night-black Birds
Singing, the only ones Unheard
Are the only ones to Say
The Truth of our so unhappy Ways
Why do we have to hear the Truth?
Because we are blinded since our youth
We believe that feeling is "true love"
When, in fact, the feels are really of
Something physical, something aggressive,
Something painful, something possessive,
Something we cannot rid ourselves of,
It is not a thing we dare call "love."
That Truth is harder indeed to find...
But to think to find it gives one Peace of Mind.
To find that Golden Trinket in a sea
of Dark Unfeeling Atrocity
Brings to Us a feeling greater than
Having bought a brand new fan
When in the middle of summer.
