Ok so I just recently got over my ex. My friend asked me to go to the military ball(which is a dance) but we would be going just as friends. So I started texting him on my friends phone and he ended up asking me out. At first I told him that I didn't know and when I did I would tell him. So I told him yesterday that I didn't know if i was ready for another relationship and that i didn't know if i liked him that way. Thank god he didn't get mad.And i explained it more to him. I told him that I have never said no to a guy when he asked me out and well it's always ended up badly and I didn't want out friendship to be ruined. He said that he would still be my friend but I told him wouldn't be the same. Like my ex was and still is my friend but maybe not as much as we were before we went out. I supose that's partially my fault but it's still the fact that it isn't the same. So he talked to me for like an hour and a half last night and he said he would call me 2 hours ago but eh, I don't really care and I also don't want people seeing us together and thinking were going out. I already get that enough with my other friend but I can see why. We flirt constantly.
