There once was a fairy, her name was Vindella, she was like a shooting star, you see her fly through the night, she'll grant you one wish. A child named Serenity was tossing and turning all night in her soft fluffy bed, she awoke with a start, to see something fly past her window. She hopped out of bed, rushing toward her window to peek out, she saw Miss Vindella, white dress flowing in the wind, her beautiful blue wings illuminating the midnight sky, her butterfly friends prancing all around her. Serenity had never seen anything like it, she was awe struck, she couldn't speak, Vindella gave a soft chuckle and said. "Dear child, can you not put your thoughts into words?" Serenity just stood there, head out of window staring at the wondrous fairy, thinking of something to say. Finally young Serenity said. "Who are you, and why have you come?" Vindella said with enthusiasm " Why, I came to grant you a wish, you saw me, so now here I am." Vindella smiled at Serenity, her white teeth glowed in the night. Serenity became excited, and was thinking frantically about what she could wish for, she thought of cupcakes and sugarlands, but she couldn't decide, she wanted it to be worth while. She looked around, for hope of inspiration, she saw something bright and glittery floating above Vindella. Now she knew what she wanted, she wanted something that could remind her of this moment for the rest of her life, she wanted Vindella's lucky star. Serenity announced " I wish for you lucky star." as she grinned with excitement. Vindella caught her lucky star in mid air, it glowed and sparkled in her soft hand. Vindella reluctantly handed over the star. Serenity was overjoyed with her gift from a fairy, she had always dreamed of this moment, she thanked Vindella over and over. Vindella felt almost stupid for reluctantly giving her star to this wonderful child. "Take care of it dear." Vindella whispered, as she floated into the night. Serenity was tired, she lazily walked to her bed and hopped in, still having the lucky star clutched in her fist. As she drifted off to sleep, the star emitted a soft glow, through her small separated fingers.
