So I've been collecting avatar glitches... pretty much since I first saw a glitch on Gaia. And at the behest of MingSao, I'm posting my collection here. biggrin

At first, I would screencap the avatars with the username included...

my swag
music: jekyll & hyde - take me as i am
mood: sleepy (and tipsy)

Second installment of pictures from Japan. I meant to do this every week, but it's probably going to be more like "whenever I feel like it". sweatdrop

Here in Japan, young people accessorize like crazy. I saw a high school guy with ten or so plushie keychains attached to his bag. So far I've only got two keychains on my bag and two phone accessories. But I'm starting to become addicted to capsule machines... right now I'm only out 600 yen because of them (they're almost always 200 yen), but by next May I predict I'll have bought a shitload of capsule toys.

So anyroad, for this entry you get pictures of toys.

User Image
This was the first capsule toy I bought, from a Nightmare Before Christmas capsule machine. (I wish I'd had more change at the time, because the mall I was at had the most capsule machines I've ever seen in one place.)

User Image
The Jack Skellington capsule toy came in this neat little coffin. 3nodding

User Image
The second capsule toy I bought was Panda-Z, a gift for my best friend MingSao.

User Image
However, later I found the actual Panda-Z toy so I'm giving her that and keeping the phone accessory for myself. xd

My latest capsule toy buy was Yomiko Readman from R.O.D. the TV (the Read or Die TV series).

Yomiko in pieces - gomg you can see her panties!!1

User Image
This isn't a capsule toy, just a Harry Potter keychain I bought at the Lego store. (I'd never seen an entire store devoted to Legos before... but maybe they're just uncommon in Arizona.)

And finally, to prove I'm good on my word, this is my gift to Danni_Love for posting a comment on my last entry.

I know you're all jealous, so leave a comment and get your own crane!

my long absence
music: gundam wing (sayuri) - brightness and darkness
mood: amused lol

So. Haven't written in... oh, about five months. There are various reasons behind that, but mostly I've been more focused on getting to Japan.

That's right. I'm studying abroad for two semesters in Japan; I've already been here about a month and a half. Thus, I've decided it's time once again for a change in what goes in this blog.

From now on I'll be posting photos from Japan and perhaps also interesting stories of things & people I've encountered.

For this first entry, you get some of the stereotypical "ZOMG THEY HAVE THOSE IN JAPAN??" pictures, as well as some other random objects.

My previous comment pull was "post a comment in my journal and I'll put your name on one of my candy wrapper cranes". I didn't bring my crane army with me to Japan, but if you still want one I can put your name on a Hai-Chu wrapper or something. So comment away, people!

Here's a couple more pictures to add to my dead bird collection:

I hope people actually like the random pictures I post in my journal. sweatdrop I'd have a better idea of what people liked if they would leave comments... (hint hint)

Congratulations to Gouda P. Cheesemonger and Cursed Love, who now own cranes 2 & 3 (respectively) in my crane army!

mood: slightly annoyed

Okay, people. I know I'm attracting the masses with the picture in my sig, but NOBODY WANTS TO LEAVE A COMMENT. Dammit, what do I have to do to get a little love around here? Bribe you or something??

Uh, how about, if you comment in my journal, you can have a crane in my crane army.

Note: these are three different birds, not one in various states of decay. (I guess that should be obvious given the different backgrounds.) sweatdrop

And yes, I am weird enough to be fascinated by bird corpses.
