As can probably be guessed, my name is hawkmoon. I chose this name, because it is the name of a charater I created for Lord of the Rings. Her name is Cahira Hawkmoon, and she is a half-elven, half-human healer. Her father was an elven lord, a long-time friend of Lord Celeborn of Lothlorien. Her mother was a human healing woman who had the magical healing arts and extensive plant knowledge.
Cahira has issues with the elves, because they prevented her mother and father from attaining true happiness, due to their difference in race. It was distinctly unfair, because one of the great elflords, Elrond of Rivendell, himself was half human.
Cahira believes that the elves are responsible for her mother's decline into depression after the circumstances of her father's death.
