Here's My Rant for the day: Cell Phones... nothing against THEM, (trust me, I use mine all the time) but rather the people who use them, and the strange places they do so...
Okay, so I'm standing in line at Burger King, waiting to order, and theres these two girls behind me, chatting up a storm dramallama ... so, whatever... freedom of speech and all that... so anyway, one of the girls announces (quite loudly I might add) that she needs to go to the bathroom (thanks for the info... neutral ) ... they say their good-bye's and she disappears around the corner. Not even two seconds later, the other girl's cell rings... Instead of saying "Hello" she starts off with "Yeah, so as I was saying..." I thought to myself 'Must be someone she was talking to earlier' and go back to my spaced-out stance. About 5 minutes later, I'm seated at my table, eating my chicken, and the girl is still chatting it up on her phone. "Will you hurry up! talk2hand Our food is getting cold! ... Oh, what? Okay... I see you now!" Out of curiosity, I glance over stare , and she's waving in the directon of the bathroom... The other girl comes out as happy as ever blaugh , and says "Yeah... I see you too. I'll be right there." And hangs up... just as she sits down at the table... "So yeah... he said that, and then he... (blah blah blah)" eek
Honestly?! Who does that!? gonk What couldn't wait 5 minutes to finish a conversation... must you REALLY bring your cell phone to the bathroom to talk to a friend who is waiting about 8 meters away confused ... Am I right? NO offence to anyone who does this, but is it truly necessary?
