No offense to other jobs, but a job at the library ROCKS!
Yeah, you may think it's boring sitting around the library all day, checking books in and out, shelving books that uncultured nitwits put somewhere else and such....
But you'd be wrong. blaugh
You see, the library is a temple of knowledge! (Especially the library I work at. Lovely books about psychology, psychoanalysis (sp?), social work, etc.). Yes, I enjoy in re-stacking the periodicals, journals, books (I get to use the dumbwaiter! Woo!), and whatever else, that's around there. It gives me much pleasure distributing books and room keys to study-oriented students, determined to become our country's future Freuds. (Okay, so I was kidding about that last part.)
But, alas, I have to cut this lovely entry short. For it seems that all of my good work has given me a headache. Adieu. wink
